November 23, 2015 — by Hawon Nguyen0

One of the many things that iPhone and iPad users are concern about are the facts they might break their power and home buttons. These buttons are important than anything else because if something goes wrong, they can save your life. For example, if the device is put into recovery mode, you will need the power button to turn it back on or else the device become useless until you install third-party software on a computer to fix it.

iTouchSecure tweak for iOS 9 will replace in-app password with Touch ID

November 23, 2015 — by Hawon Nguyen0

It’s nearly pointless to enter password manually when your iPhone or iPad is Touch ID built-in. Although most applications will only require you to enter your password once or whenever you reinstall the app, reset it, or did an update. Not to mention after a period of time some users won’t be able to remember their password and the process of retrieving it back might be a hassle.

To make it easier for iPhone and iPad owners with Touch ID, there is a jailbreak tweak called iTouchSecure for iOS 9 that allows you to use your Touch ID instead of password in most applications, including third-part apps like Facebook, Chrome, Twitter, and many other.

Springtomize 3 updated to support iOS 9

November 20, 2015 — by Hawon Nguyen0

When it comes to customizing a jailbroken device, there are many different options. But we have to admit that Springtomize 3 by Filippo Biga would always be part of our recommendation. This is the ultimate customization tweak that allows users to make changes across their iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad.

Normally, you won’t be able to customize your iOS device after a jailbreak, yet, because you would need to get a few tweaks that let you do so. While most tweaks will only provide a few settings and functionality to users, Springtomize 3 include everything in one package and all the customization settings are available in one app.

Customize your iOS 9 App Switcher with Lylac tweak

November 13, 2015 — by Hawon Nguyen0

Even though Apple has made some changes to their App Switcher in iOS 9, the features, how it function remain the same, and there is definitely room for improvements. A new jailbreak tweak on Cydia today called Lylac is here to add more features and give users the ability to customize iOS 9 App Switcher.

As far as functionality, Lylac allows users to combine both Control Center and App Switcher together. Thus, making it extremely easy to use different toggles, music controls, and see which applications is running on the background. Lylac also works really well with newer iPhone models (6s/6s Plus).

Cercube 3 tweak lets you download YouTube videos and remove ads

November 13, 2015 — by Hawon Nguyen0

Without doing much research, I can immediately tell that download videos are one of the most requested features on YouTube. Not only when users use it on the Web but also on their smartphone, specifically iPhone and other devices such as iPod touch and iPad.

Of course, with today’s technologies you can easily create a third party software or app and can immediately download any videos on YouTube. The web version is quick, easy, and friendly. But when it comes to mobile applications that allow you to quickly download YouTube videos, expect some popups, infinite ads, and much more.

How to Install RetroArch Emulator for iOS 9 – 9.0.2

November 9, 2015 — by Hawon Nguyen0

One of the easiest ways you can download free and paid games on the iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad is from the App Store. In fact, if your iOS device is not jailbroken, this is the only method. With that being said, iPhone and iPad with Cydia installed can use an emulator such as Nd4iOS, GBA, and RetroArch to install games from other devices on your iPhone.

Apple has become really strict when it comes to installing an emulator or any unsigned applications on their product. However, Cydia will help you get rid of that restriction and allows you to get any emulators. As you may know, ND4iOS (Nintendo emulator) is no longer available, and the Game Boy Advance only supports iOS 8, so we are left with the only solution, which is RetroArch.

SafeTexting tweak will only display read receipt when replying in iMessage

November 6, 2015 — by Hawon Nguyen0

SafeTexting is a paid jailbreak tweak for iPhone and iPad that gives read receipt when you reply in iMessage and disable typing indicator.

Put yourself in someone’s position where they send a text message and the receiver read it but takes forever to reply back. That would either show that the recipient isn’t interested in you or is busy doing something else important than texting back. To avoid both of these situations, you would need a free jailbreak tweak like SafeTexting.

As described above, SafeTexting will only let the sender see the read receipt when you are actually replying back to them in iMessage. For example, a girl sends you a message and you read it instantly but reply back 30 minutes later. That girl won’t be able to know that you already saw her message, instead it will continue to say Delivered and will only change to Read at the moment you hit that reply button.

This tweak also provides the option to disable typing indicator, which means that whoever it’s that you’re talking to will not know when you are typing.

SafeTexting tweak for iMessage is now purchasable for $1 from the BigBoss repo on Cydia, compatible with iOS 8.

November 1, 2015 — by Hawon Nguyen0

It comes to our surprise that Winterboard was able to work on iOS 9 – 9.0.2 right when the new Pangu 9 was released. If you didn’t know. the Pangu team recently released their iOS 9 Jailbreak utility for both Windows and Mac. Without getting an official update from its creator, Saurik, many users were able to install and use custom themes on their jailbroken iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad running iOS 9.

3D Touch not working or lagging? 3DNoLag tweak is here to fix

October 25, 2015 — by Hawon Nguyen0

3D Touch is something that Apple recently added into their iPhone 6s and there are definitely some problems with it. This feature allows you to quickly launch specific settings just by holding on the app’s icon. Not all applications for iOS will have support for this feature, but a majority of our stocks applications does. For example, when using 3D Touch on the you will be able to quickly take a Selfie, capture a video/photo without actually launching the app itself.

This is great and all that but sometimes this feature does lag too. If you’re tired of the constant lagging while launching 3D Touch, this jailbreak tweak called 3DNoLag can help. Just like any other new features, it has bugs and need more improvements. While we wait for Apple to release official fixes, why not use an alternative.

Incognito Messages tweak brings adjustments to iMessage app

October 25, 2015 — by Hawon Nguyen0

Apple’s iMessage app might seem sleek, simple, and easy to use yet still have room for improvements. The company hasn’t made any changes to the service itself but if your iPhone or iPad is jailbroken, you could definitely install some hacks on your own.

By that, I don’t mean like those hacking where you do illegal stuff or anything that can cause trouble. This is just a little bit of enhancements for the iMesssage application.

When users go on Cydia, there are tons of jailbreak tweaks specifically designed to add more features to the iMessage app. However, you may not know which one is better or its compatibility. Since the iOS 9 Jailbreak just came out, here is an iMessage tweak for it.
