iPhone Dev Team has just released a bug fix version of PwnageTool 2.2.1. This is a minor update fix a bug related to Simple Mode. Earlier, iPhone Dev Team quoted that you should not use “simple mode” to jailbreak iPhone firmware 2.2:

Apple has published an updated user guide for iPhone 2.2 to include the new features come with this update. The guide has added with a detailed section about Google Street View and step-by-step directions for driving / public transit / walking.
