For those who are waiting for Backgrounder’s support for iPhone 3.0, this is a good news for you. Backgrounder has released a new version to support iPhone 3.0. You can now use this cydia app on jailbroken iPhone and put application to run in background.

As usual, there are lots of speculations around about the features of the upcoming iPhone firmware update. Yesterday, MacRumors reported they’ve heard from a source that Apple will allow third party iPhone applications to run in background in the next firmware update.
