3 Jailbreak Tweaks Worth Checking Out This Week

There are many ways in which you can customize your iOS Passcode before entering the Springboard. Recently, I’ve used Picture Passcode tweak where you tap on certain pictures of your chosen and unlock your iPhone, iPod touch, or iPad. However, sounds quite complicated for some people and it’s not free either.

Here is another passcode screen replacement tweak that adds a little customization to your passcode keypad, but in a simple form and doesn’t cost anything. All it does is changing the regular numbers and turn it into roman numerals. You can download RomanPasscode tweak for free from Cydia.

Vibrate On Failed Attempt

When you enter a wrong passcode from your iPhone or iPad lockscreen, the device will vibrate, which give an obvious sign that you have entered the wrong combination. I hope there is no lockout or else you will have to reset your passcode. An interesting tweak called Vibrate on Failed Attempt was released today for iPhone users with built-in Touch ID.

Once you installed this tweak, it will add a quick vibration effect whenever your iPhone detects a wrong fingerprint. Vibrate on Failed Attempt tweak requires Touch ID along with iOS 8+ and is also available on Cydia for free.

Floater – A bunch of floating elements

This is not a multitasking tweak for iOS. It’s just another tweak that adds cool animation and rounded corners to your application icons, control center, and even your entire screen.

When I see Floater on Cydia, I thought that this tweak is going to lets my icons and different aspects on my Springboard float around just like an Apple Watch, but it doesn’t do any of that. However, Floater still gives floating appearance by scale down many Springboard elements and can also be use as RoundScreenCorners alternative.

Floater supports all iOS devices, orientations, and a mix of other jailbreak tweaks like Auxo Legacy, TinyBar, and Couria. It’s now available from the BigBoss repo for free.
