The whole purpose of jailbreaking an iPhone or iPad is to have the most control over your device and have access to the root files. But with the help of many tweaks out there on Cydia, it can provide additional functionality to your iOS devices. For example, if I want to get rid of irritating ads on Twitter app I can use a tweak called NoSocialAds to achieve that.
In this post, we will show you how to easily search for thousands of jailbreak tweaks and install them from Cydia. The first thing you need to do is tap on the Cydia icon. Wait a minute or so for the app to reload its data and give you all the latest updates from popular sources.
Now go to the “Changes” tab to see what’s new on there. Most likely you will see a lot of paid themes & tweaks and free ones available from that day. Scroll down to see more and from yesterday or many days ago.
Simply choose a tweak that interested you and tap on it. Go up and down to see what that tweak does and if it’s compatible with your iOS version. If yes, choose “Install” on the top right-hand corner, then Confirm, and wait for it to download.
The last step is to restart your iPhone, which can be done if you tap on a button that says “Restart SpringBoard”. After that, you’re done and good to go. Unlock your device and test out the features of that jailbreak tweak.
That’s just one way of looking for tweaks on Cydia. You can also go to each default repository and check out their packages. I hope that this post helped you.
