There are tons of music services out there that users can choose to download on their iPhone and iPad. Some of the most popular music apps for iOS right now are the new Apple Music, Pandora, Tidal, and Spotify. What you can obviously tell from these music services is that they offer online music listening to users but will require them to pay in order to unlock the full features such as unlimited skips, no advertisements, and additional UI features.
If you have a jailbroken iPhone or iPad, things might be easier because we have seen many developers releasing Cydia tweaks for Apple Music, Pandora, and others, but not a single good one for Spotify. This is one of the most well-known music apps for Apple’s firmware and so it’s crucial to have a tweak that brings extra functionality to music lovers who are using Spotify.
We stumbled around Cydia today and found a new release called Clarify, a jailbreak tweak that adds many features to enhance Spotify on iOS 8. This tweak includes features like no blur, always on private sessions, podcasts, download music in the background, hide recently played song, alternative sidebar, and much more.
You can find Clarify tweak for Spotify on Cydia’s BigBoss repo and install it from there for $0.99. Once this tweak is downloaded, the default settings are not turned off automatically, which means all options are disabled by default and will require you to enable whichever features you want from the Settings app.
There aren’t many packages on Cydia that is designed specifically for Spotify or still compatible with its latest version, and so Clarify might be one of the best option when it comes to improving your experience on Spotify and enable and disable certain features that you do and don’t like.
Let us know what you guys think about this tweak and what else is missing.
