1Second Everyday: Create A Movie On Your Life

You’re unlikely to remember what you did the other day because almost everyone in this age has a hectic routine. Wouldn’t it be wonderful if you could somehow make a complication of every day of your life and watch it after a year or even 10 years?

1 Second Everyday is a new app that allows you to create a movie of your life based on complication of day by day videos and images.

How to use 1Second Everyday

After downloading and installing the app, you’re presented with the interface which presents the files installed on your device in calendar-view. The dates on the calendar will show photos taken on different dates and if there were videos taken on those days as well, that date entry will be highlighted in orange.

The app also allows you to add texts to each day, with or without the media files, so you also write about a memory that you may have had on any particular day.

Adding a photo is fairly easy, but to add a video snippet, you’ll have to swipe the scrubber to the left, see the preview of the snippet and tap the button at the top right of the screen (this method is for adding a video in your camera roll. There’s also an option to create a new video from within the app).

There’s no limit to the number of timelines you can add, and the ‘manage timeline’ option gives you the ability to delete any of the timelines.

The bottom bar has four tabs. The second tab in the row will allow you to start compilation of the view. You can set custom dates for the timeline, or compile images or videos for a month or year. After selecting your preferences, tap the mark at top left corner to complete the process.

The video snippets won’t make the audio sound distorted which is a blessing in disguise. The app also allows you to set reminders to take videos and photos and particular times of the day – which will be pretty handy if you forget you had to record something important at a particular time period. You can also backup the data to Google Drive to keep it secure.

Final verdict

1Second Everyday looks like a simple concept at first, but you realize after a while that how important the app can be for your past memories. The thought to see the flashback of your life sound intriguing.

The app is available at App Store to download for $0.99 [iTunes link]. Let us know what you think of it.
