Taste and see the Windows Metro interface in your iOS device – PDF it all is another productivity app you should check out on the App Store. The interface looks awesome (somewhat similar to W8 Metro), but I also want to know if the features complement it.
What the heck?
Developer Andres E. Arocho Quinones’ PDF it All: PDF Printer and Converter app was professionally designed for people always on the go. Built as a universal app, it allows you to convert PDF files out of many sources – whether from MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and webpages, it surely functions as the name itself. Currently, the app has 22 reviews with 4.5 stars on App Store.
How does it work?
Once you launch it, you’ll find a colored dashboard with direct options for PDF converter.
If you’re in dire need of saving some important web pages for reports, the app allows you to open a web browser. Google is the default browser.
Instead of creating a screenshot via iOS buttons, this app will save a webpage by tapping the Adobe button at the upper right corner (beside the bookmark button).
The Photo option allows you to access your Camera Roll or capture a raw image. You may set the resolution according to your preferences – from high, medium, to low.
For Documents, PDF it all allows you to import files from the Dropbox folders. Assuming you already have a Dropbox account, simply invoke the access. You can also import from other apps such as Evernote, Google Drive and from Office documents.
The Mail option has a detailed guide on how to convert your emails, which I find very useful.
How’s the app?
It looks like the app is entirely integrated with the Dropbox storage along with the tutorials, which can be accessed via Safari Browser.
They are helpful especially for newbies. For intermediate and advanced users, I think they can figure this app by themselves. It’s neat, simple and easy to use. To check your PDF file, you can open it via iBooks or to any compatible productivity app.
However, the tutorial link for converting Contacts is broken and one more thing, when I tried converting my contacts to PDF, the app suddenly crashed. Hopefully, the developers will update it. Overall, it’s a noteworthy app I’d keep for webpages and documents. It deserves 4 stars.
You can download PDF it All for iPhone and iPad via iTunes direct link for free for a limited time only.
