AssistantLove Jailbreak Tweak Receives iOS 6 Update

Thanks to Siri, tech life is more convenient by using a command. Though we can use our fingers for tapping and browsing, the smart assistant does the work for us, especially while driving.

Kudos to Evasi0n’s untethered jailbreak, the iOS community enjoys functional jailbreak tweaks that bring customizations for Siri like the AssistantLove.

What the heck?

AssistantLove was featured on iDownloadblog‘s Top Jailbreak Tweaks of 2012. Apparently, the tweak wasn’t compatible with the iOS 6 back then. iPhone users could have enjoyed the “perfect iPhone” with its Spotify integration, Google Maps, Waze to name a few.

How does it work?

Your fondness to Spotify would be much stirred with this tweak, since this is just one of its stellar features bringing you “tapless” music search and browsing.

Instead of using iTunes as the stock Music app, AssistantLove seamlessly works with Siri in launching Spotify. You can use your voice to search for the song or artist you can think of.

AssistantLove also integrates GPS apps with Siri providing more options to users who love to create shortcut names for their favorite apps.

Basically, AssistantLove brings you more options for Siri to launch aside from the stock apps. It is also compatible with Grooveshack, GPS apps like Waze, TomTom, Navigon, Motion-X Drive and more. Maps work as expected. When you tell Siri to “Get directions,” it will launch Google Maps app that was configured under AssistantLove settings.

One of its notable features is the App Aliases allowing users to add specific apps and speak the alias name instead of the real name. Normally, Siri would launch the stock Twitter app, but when you add a Twitter iOS client like Hootsuite under App Aliases, Siri would launch this app instead of the former.

Let’s say you create an alias name “Browse” for Google Chrome, when you tell Siri to launch “Browser,” Google Chrome is launched.

How’s the tweak?

I find this tweak useful whenever I interact with Siri. Instead of the usual stock apps, AssistantLove provides you options to customize the apps you always use. Want additional features for Siri? Get AssistantLove for a modest fee of $1.99.

Make sure you pronounce the words well and let Siri launch the alias name for you, or else, this is the response you get.
