There are many music playback apps and tweaks that offer gesture controls to iOS users, but the new Cydia tweak Tempus makes it quite convenient by bringing the functionality directly to the lock screen. You heard it right, it’s a new tweak that can be used to make temporary playlist, display track details and share anything on Facebook and Twitter. All this can be done without unlocking the device. After choosing the desired function, you can start listening to songs. You can swipe left on the screen, and this action will allow you to configure playback controls and how the time is displayed. Swiping right will allow you to configure brightness through the slider that comes up. If you selected the ‘Reveal both’ option, double tap on the Home button to make use of all the controls offered by the tweak. You can select songs based on individuals, albums or artists.

The Query button displays the playlist that you create through the tweak. To create one, you just need to press the + icon that appears on the right side of the black tile in which the song info is displayed. There’s a Player button at the top right corner of the screen that allows you see playback controls, song info and a bar. The sharing option will be displayed when you tap on the album art on the screen.
