There are multiple drawing apps on the App Store, but most of them are exclusively for the iPad. We all know that the most widely used iOS device is the iPhone, and if you’re in love with sketching and drawing doodles, you may think it’s not possible unless you get the tablet. However, making sketches and giving them a lively touch is now possible with the release of Dink. This new lets you sketches and convert them into animations.
After installing the tweak, you’ll notice that the app isn’t compatible in portrait mode, which makes sense. The interface of the tweak is black and white, with only a blue ‘Done’ button for confirmation of actions at the top right corner of the screen. MyDink.net is the native platform of the application, and accessing it would require you to make a new account. You can add other sharing options such as Facebook, Twitter, e-mail and YouTube are also available.
To start with a new sketch animation, the tap the ‘+’ top located at the top right corner of the screen. Below the ‘+’ option, two more options are available. The first one is for adding frames, and the last icon in the right row is for deleting frames. There are multiple tools available such as cropping, layer sharping and color. To help with animations, the app also displays shadows of previous frames, but this feature has to be turned on by tapping the bulb button on the right.
After completing the drawing process, the rate at which the frames move can be selected, and can be previewed later to see how it feels as an animation. The file can be saved in the form of a video or GIF, and you can share it on the linked accounts or save it on the device.
