Beautiful Podi-M Dock Matches Your iPhone and iPad

Bored with the old dock connector? Can’t wait for the lightning connector? Add some style to your iPhone with this beautiful Podi-M dock. It’s a work of art with elegance and style and charges your iPhone in prime position.

Join me as I unboxed this Kickstarter campaign and let’s see what this dock has to offer.

Laine Scandalis from Santa Monica spearheads the Podi-M dock project. She was involved in the Foundation Dock project, which was featured few months ago. As of this writing, the  Podi-M has 76 backers, and collected $5,638 pledges. The project has 20 more days to complete the $30,000 goal.

It’s not an ordinary charging dock. “It’s a functional piece of art.”

“From the stainless trim of the iPhone 4 and 4s, to the beautiful bevel of the iPhone 5, it’s the first dock to match the build quality and beauty of your Apple device.”

The dock is as smart as it is beautiful. It’s machined from solid aircraft grade aluminum and weighted by two steel discs inside the base, to ensure it stays put while undocking your phone.”

Remove the clutter on your work space and make way for a clean slate using this dock. What’s amazing about it is that you can place your iOS device in a comfortable position while charging it, and you can still browse and continue your work in the device.

This is a must-have accessory for iPhone and iPad users.

“The height of the connector is also adjustable, so it will fit any case, no matter how thick it is. Podi-m holds your existing connector securely with a stainless steel set screw that nests in the underside of the aluminum plate.”

The dock has two stainless steel allen screws that allow users to change connectors. Interestingly, you can choose from five styling docks for your device made from anodized aluminium or wooden block of maple or oak.

The mass production of Podi-M hasn’t started. If you want this project to push through, you can gladly support the campaign as a backer. Your pledges are greatly appreciated.

What do you think? Is it worth it?
