It seems like Apple has just added Siri as an extra feature to give iOS some weight. With Siri, you can make get answers to simple questions and set reminders, but that’s about it. If you remove most of the trinkets from Siri, and add some useful features to it, you will get the 24me; a true personal assistant. It creates reminders, birthdays, things to do, and also incorporates financial & service accounts to give you notifications from your utility providers. Moreover, all the notifications for the services can be seen at once.
24me is easy to use and the main page has all the details regarding the application. You have to sign up for a new account using Facebook or your e-mail ID. After linking the Facebook profile, it’s going to add the birthdays automatically.
The design of the app is simple, and it looks like an everyday manager. There is a box at the top of the screen through which, new tasks can be added. The app is designed in a way so that if you enter specific words like ‘call’; it will show your contacts. There are other features have been included, voice input and photo reminders. Adding labels to tasks can keep them organized and prioritized.
The ‘My Links’ section has three menus;
My Financials: These have all the major banks in this section, and can be connected with your bank accounts so users can get all the notifications from their bank.
My Friends: All events related to your friends will come under this menu.
My Providers: Cable and Telephone services will be listed in this menu and you can link up with the services to get notifications from your providers.
The 24me is a lot more than just a ‘to do manager’ and it’s optimized for the iPhone 5. The app is a free of charge download from the App Store.
