The Killer iPhone 5 Features Roundups

The greatest hype for the past few days is the unveiling of the killer iPhone 5 spearheaded by the Cupertino folks. The highly-anticipated event answered and confirmed the rumor mills we have gleaned from various tech sites. Most of you have probably ditched their iPhone 4/4s and prepped up for the thinnest and lightest smartphone released by Apple.

The most-awaited smart phone is finally here. What’s more, the iPhone 5 pre-orders were sold out, 20 times faster than the iPhone 4 and iPhone 4S. “The iPhone 5 took just about 60 minutes. One hour after pre-orders went live” according to Tech Crunch. WOW! Have you ordered your unit? You might miss these stellar features:

Thinnest and lightest phone - Turn your eyes upon the thinnest and lightest smart phone made entirely of glass and aluminum. You won’t see anything like this one in the industry. Measuring 7.66 mm and weighing 112 grams, it’s 18% thinner and 20% lighter than the iPhone 4S. It is loaded with tons of exceptional features, compacted in sleekest and capable of the lineups. It’s lesser, in much better design. And this is not a surprise after all, we have seen the leaked components from all over the web few weeks before the launch date. Mock-up images were also published, and the final product looks the same.

Stunning 4-inch retina display - The rumor mill is finally over. The nee iPhone 5 indeed brags a stunning 4-inch retina display. It’s bigger screen is just right. Whether you’re taking photos or playing games, you get to experience the vibrant images on your iOS device. It’s amazing how Apple retained the same width as the iPhone 4S. You don’t need to worry about ergonomics when typing on QWERTY keyboard. You get to type and hold the device just like before, and you’ll see bigger canvas of web pages, calendars and more apps on Home Screen. With 326 pixels per inch (PPI), the images are highly-dense in 1136 by 640 resolution. This is what I’m excited about. Instagramming and other photo-sharing app experience will never be the same again.

Ultrafast wireless network - Say good-bye to 2G and 3G experience. Apple raised the bar on data networks using 4G LTE. The folks at Cupertino know we are going to rely on iPhone 5′s capability on data transfer, and they have prepped up the iPhone 5 with outstanding battery life. And that will aid the upgraded fast data connections. According to Apple, “iPhone 5 does LTE the right way ? optimized for better battery life and designed for ultrafast connectivity in a thin profile. The very things you want most from your smartphone.” And if you guys want an “everlasting” battery life, better check out this kickstarter project “Everpurse” we featured few days ago.

The iPhone 5 comes in advance networks available all over the world such as HSPA, HSPA + and DC-HSDPA. The wireless experience comes from the dual band 802.11n that will boost your web surfing up to 150 Mbps.

Faster performance in A6 Chip – The upgrades above-mentioned must complement a faster chip processor and with A6 chip, the performance is twice as fast sparing the battery life. Whether you’re playing games or other multitasking tasks Apple brags that everything you do in the iPhone 5 is noticeably faster. It’s twice faster than the A5 chip. Enjoy a faster response to high-definition graphics and higher frame rates for sleeker realistic gaming experience. Specifics of the battery life includes 8 hours on LTE browsing, 8 hours on talk time and 10 hours in video playback time.

iSight Camera – It’s more than a smartphone. The iPhone 5 has a stellar camera that captures with eagle’s eyes featuring panorama, Facetime HD and enhanced HD video recording. Take photos of the world in panorama that lets you capture everything you see. It can take photos in an impressive 240 degrees. What more could you ask for? The high-resolution panorama is aided with seamlessly integrated gyroscope, A6 and camera app that can capture vivid images up to 28 megapixels.
