Most of us have probably asked this hundred-dollar question, “How much is the new iPhone?” The famous line for this week “It’s almost here” give us the excitement and thrills for the next-generation iPhone. But it doesn’t end there. Whether you’re the prince or the pauper the price is considerably intentional.
We all look forward to a redesigned iPhone. The leaked images of the components and the list of rumor roundups give us a clue that Apple prepared something new for us. Simon Blog has been diligent in providing updates and featured iPhone 5 rumor roundups. It’s already set. Apple will launch the next-generation iPhone model (codename N42) on September 12 media event at Yerba Buena Center of Arts.
Most of us are pretty excited with the iPhone 5 pre-orders. We posted an update about the iPhone 5 pre-orders set on September 12 in US. According to iMore,
?We?ve since learned that iPhone 5 pre-orders are currently planned to begin that same day, at least in the U.S. Release is still planned for 9 days later, on September 21, 2012. We?ve also learned that the second wave of iPhone launches, the ones in international markets, will begin in the first week of October, likely October 5.?
However, we heard that iPhone 5 pre-orders will be available days after the launch date, and would go on sale on September 21.
The price of the new iPhone will have iPhone 4S price points. This means Apple would probably drop the iPhone 4S prices to give way to its retail price for the next-generation the same price of the iPhone 4S.
In the US, the new iPhone is expected to retail $199, $299 and $399 based on the current pricing without the mobile carrier contracts.
We gleaned the following part code matrix from Geeky Gadgets. (A and B as black and white)
- N42A-USA -$199
- N42B-USA-$199
- N42A-USA-$299
- N42B-USA-$299
- N42A-USA-$399
