The Simpsons: Tapped Out iOS Game Returns to App Store

The Simpsons are back!

The Simpsons Tapped Out iOS game returns on App Store, and crazy Homer Simpson gets into action rebuilding the Springfield with Lisa, clueless and blameless about Springfield’s meltdown. At least, that’s what he thinks.

The Simpsons Tapped Out Game App

The EA game was pulled out last March due to server connection issues and that impaired the gaming experience of players. Although I haven’t played and heard this game before, I think it’s a great come back. I love the Simpsons especially jackass Homer. Finally, I get a chance to tap inside Homer’s world and help him build a city with the best “living, breathing Springfield.”

Basically, The Simpsons: Tapped Out is a city building game, if you know how Farmville and Cafe World work: you can help Homer rebuild the city in simply taps. It is highly recommended to use Wi-Fi connection the first time you launch it. The app downloaded a 35 MB file when I launched it, and it’s all good.

One feature that stands out is the HD graphics, and I bet this will be an awesome city building game on retina display using the new iPad. You’re going to appreciate the green pastures and the yellower yellows of characters and much more.

The game allows you to build your own Springfield, unlock items and collect the missing Simpsons family. More collectibles, characters and buildings are available, and what’s exciting is you can send you favorite characters on hilarious quests. Once a task is completed, you’ll earn a donut for Homer to munch and to speed up the rebuilding of properties.

The game is rated 12 +, as much as we want our kids to play with the Simpsons, the game contains mild profanity, tobacco, alcohol or drug use references.

You must have an internet connection to play this game.

The verdict: We give this game 4 star-rating. Above all, it’s FREE. You can download it on App Store via this direct iTunes link.
