I stumbled upon this jailbreak called “IconsSB” that is quite similar with IconsLock. This tweak authored by M_Vincent_M enables the user to access easily the Respring/SafeMode/Reboot/Power button on springboard. Let’s see what this tweak can offer on our iOS device.![]()
While browsing through the Changes on Cydia, I got curious when I saw the name IconsSB. Little did I know, the same guy behind IconsLock, created it.
So what’s in it for us?

From the name itself, IconsSB is a jailbreak tweak designed to display the icons on springboard. Once installed, you’ll see the four buttons above the dock icons. However, personally, I find it hard and confusing to tap the icons because of the limited space between icons. If you have a colorful wallpaper, chances are you won’t be able to see them unless you change to minimal abstract theme or wallpaper.

If you’ve installed the other tweak by Vincent, you’ll see the difference when it comes to convenience. As much as I want to display the icons on springboard, I prefer the IconsLock. However, putting my shoes to the developer, IconsSB is a smart alternative. Some would prefer to display the icons on SpringBoard instead on LockScreen. And it does make sense.

So if you want to install IconsSB, head to Cydia and tap Search. Type in “IconsSB” and install. Respring your iOS device and go to Settings app to configure the tweak. Simply, toggle on to enable the tweak and respring again for the changes to take effect. You’ll see your Home Screen with four buttons above the dock icons.
You can download IconsSB jailbreak tweak on Cydia via BigBoss repository for FREE.
The verdict: We give IconsSB jailbreak tweak 4-star rating.
Which do you prefer? The IconsSB or the IconsLock?
