SBSettings is a great tool for the smaller screened iPods and iPhones, but it?s not that great when it comes to iPad. It just doesn?t hit it off on the big screens, it?s not designed for them, and so it?s not that visually attractive. What more, users had no other option, but all that?s going to change with ?Speero?. This is a great little tweak, and is a great contender to replace SBSettings on the iPad. You get numerous system toggles, application shortcuts, and a couple of other useful features. However, apart from all this the most useful thing you get is the App Switcher.
Now, before you can start using Speero, you will have to set it up from the tweak?s menu in the stock Settings app. You will need to choose the activation method for Speero, and you can use any kind of activator gesture. You can even play around with the appearance. Users would get two sliders ?background darkness?, and ?background radius?. You can use the two tap to make the Speero window disappear, and you can do that with the home button as well. The action events however, is the one place where you can make some real customizations. You have 19 slots available and you can select distinct app shortcuts or system options for those slots.
Once you have everything set up, you can launch Speero and you are done. The first bar gives you all the user selected event actions, the bar below it will have predefined system toggles and other shortcuts. The options you get over here include search, app List, system information that includes everything from firmware version to RAM usage. The bottom bar of Speero is where you have the App switcher, and you can use it to switch to any previously used app.

There is one little problem with Speero and that is the fact that the Speero menu depends on whether it was launched in landscape mode or portrait mode, and it won?t allow for any changes until the next launch. Speero can use a bit of debugging and some changes but it?s worth it.
For only $0.99 you should definitely give Speero a try if you have had it with SBSettings. You can get it via BigBoss repo at the Cydia Store! Let us know if you try it out!
