Mobile Safari is in for a set back with Chrome related tweaks now being offered in the Cydia store. As of now, it is possible to have Chrome as the user?s default iOS browser and the user would also be able to add news features in the browser as well. Through some tweaks it has also been made possible that to open the link of your choice in iPhone based Google?s browser. This post concerns a better tweak that is available for users. As mentioned before, users are able to get some nifty tweaks from the Cydia store, but this one you have to read about. The name of the tweak is BetterChrome and is quite a handy one. The great thing about it is that the user can add an entire new menu in the Chrome?s settings tab. The utility of the tweak is that you have the social sharing option through this menu. So, now it is possible to share pages through your iPhone and iPad via the Chrome browser now.
These options can be accessed through the ?Share? menu that this tweak creates. So, all you have to do is to install BetterChrome and you are good to share. No changes in the configuration are required, so that?s an added simplicity with this tweak. To ensure that you have installed it, start the Chrome app and check the Settings tab. The ?Share? option is now the second option on the settings list. When you visit any page, simply hit the share button and share at your favorite social network. Another advantage with this tweak is that you do get the option to add a caption before the sharing.
The sharing procedure is similar to the routine one, and as of now, sharing is available for Twitter, Facebook and Google+. For completion of sharing, log in to your account within your browser. The tweak is available at a mere price of $1 and has a far greater utility. You can find it via Cydia’s ModMyi repo.
