Even though there are alternative email clients for iOS such as Gmail, none of them offers the efficiency and features compared to the native iOS Mail app. However, the stock app is minimalistic and doesn?t have any complicated options. This is the reason why those who are looking for some advanced features in Mail are left disappointed. Some of the lacking features include not being able to select messages in bulk, and each email has to be tapped separately if lots have trash has to be moved or has to be marked as read. Now this issue is resolved by a new Cydia tweak known as Check.
With this tweak, you?ll be able to deselect and select unlimited messages would just a few simple taps. In order to use the tweak, just open it, and go to your Inbox or any other folder in the Mail app and follow these steps:
1. Tap the Edit Button located in the top right corner.
2. After you?ve entered the Edit mode, long-press any desired email thread in the folder. You?ll see the selected mail flashing once you remove the finger from it.
3. The mail selected acts as a starting point for the portion of the folder the user wants to delete. Users can scroll down to the last mail they want to delete to specify the other end of the selection, and tap it just a single time. The tweak selects all the items between the two mails, and there are options to delete, move or mark the items with ease.

If the items need to be deselected in bulk, that option is available as well, and you need to long-press a selected item to make it flash. After that, the other extreme can be defined by tapping another selected item a single time. Check is a free Cydia tweak that runs on all iDevices provided they are on iOS 5+. After installation, it implements itself without requiring any setup or configuration. You can grab it from Cydia?s BigBoss repo. The package is 20kb in size and doesn?t interfere with any features of the stock Mail app. It?s a free of charge download. Let us know if you try it!
