Ever since the iOS 5 was released, we enjoyed a plethora of cool features and usability on our iOS devices. What’s more exciting is that, the developers within the jailbreak community found “creative tinkers” to suit our needs, and added customized tweaks to maximize the iOS 5 Notification Center.
That’s not all! When Siri was launched, we found our AI friend reliable when it comes to emails, text messages, notifications and, etc. Developers explored the extremes of iOS 5, and they have developed useful tweaks, some of them are considered worthy to credit praise, while others are treated as redundant add-ons of stock features.
Nevertheless, we want to share this new widget we stumbled upon Cydia Store. Tinker with your device and add this image slide show on Notification Center dubbed as “PictureFrameCenter.” This tweak was developed by Coolstar. His idea is one of a kind, allowing users to display an image slide show on Notification Center with all the images saved from the Photo app.
It’s a novelty tweak for Notification Center. It continuously shows images, and for post installation, toggle on the widget to embed the slide show on NC. Additional options are included in the Settings app, such as adjustment of the time interval before the transition of the next image.

When you tap the image slideshow, it will invoke an overlay of options, allowing users to go to the next or previous image. The pause button is available to pause alternatively the entire image slideshow.

PictureFrameCenter widget is compatible with Dashboard X, where the slideshow can be posted on Home Screen. Personally, I find the tweak unnecessary, because most of the time the Notification Center is hidden in view. For those who want to add a slideshow within the NC, you may do so.
PictureFrameCenter is available on Big Boss repository for FREE. It’s compatible with iOS 5 +.
