Are you ready for the next step in file sharing?
Well, let’s see… Dropbox, iCloud, Bump, WiFiPhoto what else? Thank goodness, file sharing is much easier now.
We stumbled upon this cool concept that will rock your transferring experience between two devices.
Mac users are familiar with the most advanced, supercharged OS X Lion and if you?re one of them, it?s possible you have tinkered with AirDrop. It?s one of the coolest features of OS X Lion, especially if you?re a file transfer freak. Nothing beats a fast file transfer with a few drag and drop gestures.
How about an AirDrop concept on iOS devices? This would be the most convenient way to share content between computers in a common Wi-Fi network. Basically, it?s a dream come true for all of us. It?s an elegant sharing concept by simply dragging and dropping the files.

The AirDrop feature caught the attention of an interaction designer, Ishac Bertran and has recently come up with his own concept of AirDrop integrated on iOS devices. His idea was born out of frustration from transferring files from his computer to a mobile device.
Bertran’s creativity nailed it. His concept is brilliant with overlays and overhauls of the original AirDrop. He called it ?natural interactions with spatially aware devices.?
After watching the video, we were wondering if this can be possible with the upcoming iOS update. Imagine the convenience, unlimited dragging and dropping of files on your iPhone and iPad.
Computers and mobile devices can easily detect each other in range using Wi-Fi or Bluetooth. Bertran?s concept allows users to share content between two devices using a drag and drop gesture. There?s an intuitive interaction between tangible devices that uses an intangible process. Behind the scenes, the cloud service handles the actual transfer.
Interesting isn?t it?
