We have a new jailbreak tweak for you!
If you?re more concerned on notifications, this tweak displays a pint-sized banner on your iPhone instead of the stock banner.
Well, if you think that the notification?s banner is large, you can try this one for free. It?s called ?SmallBanners,? developed by Ron Melkhior. It?s able to reduce the size of the iOS 5?s notification half of its size. Its tiny banner can resolve your annoyance for large pop-ups whenever you play your favorite game.
The jailbreak tweak isn?t intricately designed. It?s pretty simple ? literally the iOS 5 banner was cut half. It may be a useful tweak for some, but it would be ideal if the developer took the time to implement some aesthetic changes, like round-off corners or maybe a ?squoval? design with fewer pixels.
The tweak cuts out the name of the application with resized icon and shows the complete preview in pinch-sized across the screen. You don?t have to worry on the pixels and information, although it uses small notification banners, it doesn?t affect the iOS screen features and its ability to notify new events.
For post-installation, the SmallBanners is not configurable in terms of options and your device should run in iOS 5. It will not affect other functions of notification such as icon badges and lock screens.
Above all, SmallBanners is FREE. You can get it on BigBoss repository.
So if you want to make some changes on Apple banner, give it a shot. Some would consider it an unnecessary tweak. Nevertheless? the choice is yours.
