Facebook has announced a new app by the name Facebook Camera, as reported by The New York Times. This app is a new standalone app meant for the iPhone and the iPod touch. This app has been developed with one idea behind it; to make it easier for people to take as well as share photos on the social network.
The new software featured in the ?Facebook Camera? app will allow the Facebook members to upload high resolution photos that can be up to 2048 x 2048, they can also choose from 15 different filters, owing to the fact that Facebook has acquired Instagram and users can pipe the photos directly into the Facebook albums that they have.
According to the Facebook?s press release this app allows you to see the photos of your friends at one place. When this app is launched, you will be able to see a feed of photos from the people who are close to you. A single swiping motion will allow you to see more of any album you are interested in, and you can tap on an image to enlarge it. This app also allows you to quickly share multiple photos at the same time, instead of you having to post them one by one. All you have to do is tap the check-marks on each photo and the hit post. This app allows you to add captions as well as tag your friends. This app also allows you to edit photos as it features new tools!
