iOS 5.1.1 Untethered Jailbreak Will Support All Devices

Tired of waiting for the untethered jailbreak of iOS 5.1.1?

We?re close to the light at the end of the tunnel as we received an update about latest updates on iOS 5.1.1 untethered jailbreak.

We mentioned from our previous post, Pod2g confirmed the iOS 5.1.1 untethered jailbreak on iPhone 4S, iPad 2 and iPad 1 ? disappointments for those who are using other devices can?t help but to wait.

However, Pod2g has recently confirmed via Twitter update that the upcoming iOS 5.1.1 untethered jailbreak will support ALL devices after his significant attempts of exploits on non-supported devices (iPhone 3GS, iPod Touch 3G). We?re finally getting something out of his sheer dedication and stubborn passion for testing the exploits. Of course, we owe it all for these iOS developers.

For those who can?t wait for the untethered version, we have provided a step-by-step guide on how to jailbreak, your A4 devices using RedSn0w (Tethered). However, with inconvenience for booting, you have to execute the power button with PC/laptop.

Supported iOS devices ready for release are:

  • iPhone 4/4S
  • iPad 1
  • iPad 2 Wi-Fi Only
  • iPad 3 Wi-Fi and CDMA
  • iPod Touch 3G/4
