Those who used to SAM unlock solution to successfully unlocked their iPhones have been recommended to save baseband/activation tickets which will come handy in future. Now there are two guides to do this! The easy one is first up!
Save Activation/Baseband tickets with redsn0w
Prerequisites:
- Download Redsn0w 0.9.10b8 for Mac and Windows
- Use our guide to unlock your iPhone 4/4S on iOS 5.0+
- iPhone 4/4S should be jailbroken with afc2 service enabled which is mostly included in the every jailbreak
Guide:
Step 1: Open Redsn0w downloaded above and start it.
Step 2: Now plugin the iPhone 4/4S, the one whose ticket you want to save.
Step 3: Go to Extras > Even More > Backup.
Step 4: Now tap the ?backup a path using afc2?
That?s the only thing required. The activation/baseband tickets will be saved which will come handy in the future when your iPhone gets locked!
Save baseband/activation tickets with iFile
Prerequisites
- Install iFile from Cydia.
- Need to save activation tickets for every SIM you want to use.
Guide
Step 1: Start iFile and go to /var/root/Library/.
Step 2: After you see the file ?Lockdown?, on the top right hand corner tap ?edit?
Step 3: Now press the circle next to ?lockdown?.
Step 4: Tap the zip button at the bottom and a message will pop up asking you to create a zip file. Rename it to anything that you can easily remember.
Step 5: It will create a new file, scroll down at the bottom to see if that?s done.
Step 6: Tap on the circle next to it and press the mail button at the bottom.
Step 7: Email the file to yourself.
This will save the activation/baseband ticket in your iPhone?s mail.
