The App Switcher tray has a small red close/kill button which allows users to kill apps which are not needed. However, the irony is when we end up opening apps from it when we?re actually trying to close them. There are some tweaks that increase the button size of the close button but this larger size is only one thing that the new released CloseEnhancer Cydia tweak does. CloseEnhancer also lets you close individual apps in the tray by pressing them twice or kill the last launched app. Furthermore, you can also kill all apps in the tray at once with the Home button.
There will be a CloseEnhancer menu added within the stock Settings app. You can configure everything from there. You won?t see any immediate change to the App Switcher tray after installation but after configuration, a variety of new gestures are added. Three options will be given for killing apps within the App Switcher. The first task in the tray can be closed by double-tapping the Home button. You can also hold the Home button to clear the tray completely. These gestures work independently of all gestures added to the tweak.
CloseEnhancer gives you the option to choose the said button according to your will unlike other tweaks where you?ll find automatic changing of the close buttons in the App Switcher tray. You can go with the black ?x? button that appear over app icons on the Springboard while in jiggle mode or stay with the default red one.
