An iPhone would be just an ordinary phone if it wasn?t for the Cydia Store. I am sure many of you would agree. The Cydia Store has tweaks that would never have been on the App Store. We all know about the app switcher which allowed to close apps in the background and a double-click of the Home button allowed you to revisit apps recently used without the need to navigate through pages of the home screen.
The current process to kill a background app is to hold an icon just as how you do deletion on the home screen, and a small red badge appears which can be pressed to remove the apps. AlwaysClose is a tweak by ihkltc is a simple tweak that makes the badge to kill the apps from the app switcher tray a permanent thing. This means users can scroll and pick off the apps they no longer wish to run with ease. It won?t stop you from opening an app if you tap the actual icon as opposed to the corner, and it will start and you can continue as usual. However, the tweak has the inability to remove all background apps at once.

You are no longer to hold the app icons with AlwaysClose while the multitasking bar to enable the edit mode. This means the multitasking bar will always show the close button when you activate it and you can always delete applications in a saved state. It surely increases the ease-of-use on the iOS device.
You can check out AlwaysClose from the Cydia Store. It is available for free via the ModMyi repository. You need a jailbroken device to install the tweak.
Editor’s note: If you want to kill all multitasking apps at once, check out the earlier post about the trick.
