The Adobe Reader for the iOS was released late last year, but it didn?t provide us all with features except the standard reading capability for the PDF format. However, it looks like that Adobe has released an update for its iOS PDF reader, and these features will definitely make more people download the app on their devices. Read after the break to know about the features present in this update.
Though the earlier versions of this app weren?t able to provide us all with something new, this latest update has provided us all with something new in the iOS PDF reader.
This update includes the support for the creation, modification and the deletion of text markups, which include Strikeouts, Underlines and Highlights. You can even create multiple comments in a single session by using the Commenting toolbar. The PDF Reader also allows you change different properties such as the color of the text or clear a comment by selecting the comment and using the context menu.
The latest update for the Adobe PDF Reader allows you to create sticky note comments, and you are even able to stick them anywhere you want on a document. You can even edit the stick note comments present on a document. You can even move the sticky notes to another location on the page, or if you choose, you can delete the sticky notes. You can do all of this by simply using the long press on any location of the page or through the Commenting Toolbar present at the top.
You can have a full-screen canvas by using the ?Freehand? option from the context menu or the Pencil button from Commenting Toolbar. You can also edit the drawings already present, and these changes are then saved.
These are some of the features present in the update. Other things present are: Enhancements to responsiveness and performance, last viewed position of a document is remembered and enhancements to ?File attachments? and Portfolios list on the iOS.
