Apple has just released iOS 4.2 with free Find my iPhone for qualifying devices. If you need a jailbreak too you should wait for a day or two for iPhone Devs to release the updated Jailbreaking tool. I am reading simon blogs from almost more than a yr for iph.
Just two weeks back i had purchased ipad
So while updating it to ios 4.2 …i figured two things
1) updating thru ipsw file – as mentioned in thie original blog
2) thru itunes dirctly when it says do you want to upgrade.
My feedback:
Updating directly using first option is pretty quick, it took only 20 mins.
Second option seems to me very time consuming. It was showing around 4 hours..i just stopped the process in between.
I have just usedthe folders option.it seems very nice and handy.
Dont have much idea abt other two feature like airplay and airtprint
