I hate plugging my iPhone to my computer via USB cable to sync with iTunes. Wouldn’t be cool if you can sync your iPhone / iPad / iPod touch without connecting the USB cable? This is one of the most anticipated features that I’m awaiting. Even with the upcoming release of iPhone 4.0, Apple still doesn’t give us any hint about the availability of this feature.
As reported by Engadget, Greg Hughes, an iPhone developer, decided to give a hand to Apple and built an iPhone app named WiFi Sync that lets users to sync their device wirelessly with iTunes. He has put up a demo video showing how it works. It’s just awesome.
As you’ll see in the video, the WiFi Sync automatically searches for computer once launched. After a simple process to pair the iPhone (or iPad / iPod touch) with your computer, iTunes start syncing with the device wirelessly.
The developer mentioned he would submit the app for Apple’s approval by the end of the week. But the question is: Will Apple approve the app?
Base on the existing approval process, it’s very likely Apple will reject the app. Good luck to Greg. I believe many iPhone users are expecting this kind of applications.
Don’t forget to check out the demo video.

Have to jailbreak iPod for it and cost $10.00.
