Infinidock Hack Adds More iPhone Dock Icons and Enables Horizontal Scrolling

by Simon Ng on January 13, 2010

For any iPhone user who want to add more than 4 icons in the dock, you can use the Five Icon Dock hack to add one more icon. However, what if you want to put more icons into the dock? How can you go beyond the limit?

A new hack named Infinidock has been released that allows iPhone user to add as many dock icons as you want. When you add more than five icons in the dock, it will grow automatically to accommodate the increment and put the extra icons in another page. The Infinidock also enables horizontal scrolling. Just swipe the dock icon from left-to-right or right-to-left to surf through the dock.

The hack is developed by one of the developers of ProSwitcher, a popular cydia app to navigate through background application. Like many other hacks, the Infinidock only works on jailbroken iPhone and is now available through Cydia Store for US$0.99. If you need to add more icons into the dock, it’s worth to spend a dollar to purchase the app.

What do you think about Infinidock? If you have installed it, remember to write back and share your thought on the app.
