Among all the Twitter clients for iPhone, Tweetie 2 is my favorite. This great twitter app gets even better and hits the App Store with v2.1 update.
The new version comes with the support of List, a new feature introduced by Twitter recently. It also adds a geolocation feature that lets user to mark the location of a tweet.
Other than these prominent features, Tweetie 2.1 adds many improvements and here are some highlights:
- Spam Reporting – Report spammer right from the app
- Retweets
- Tweet stream “gap” detection – Tweetie now remembers the last time you updated your tweet stream.
- New video options: Posterous, Mobypicture, Vid.ly
- What the Trend – show you the trending topics
Tweetie 2.1 is now available on App Store for US$2.99. You can click this direct iTunes link to download it. If you’re Tweetie 2 user, it won’t cost you a penny for the upgrade. However, for those using Tweetie version 1, you’ll need to purchase the app separately as Tweetie 2 is considered as a new app. Even you need to pay again, I’ll say it’s worth the upgrade. Tweetie 2.1 offers so much features compared with the original version. So, go ahead and check out the app!
