On Tuesday, Google streamlined its mobile search to provide mobile users with more detailed search results for movies. The enhanced mobile search supports iPhone, Palm WebOS and devices running Android.
For iPhone users, simply launch the mobile Safari and point it to www.google.com. Search for “movies” and then tap on the “More Movies” link. Google will show you a list of movies near your area. The improved interface lets you easily access information about the movie including movie trailer, review ratings, movie poster, upcoming showtimes and a list of the nearest theater.
If you want more information about the movie, simply tap on the movie poster or title. You’ll see a detailed movie page with a synopsis of the movie, a comprehensive list of showtimes, map showing the nearest theater, the cast and crew, and pictures.

The streamlined interface also allows you to browse movies by theaters. Google shows a map of the theaters nearest to you. Just tap on a specific theater and you’ll find what movies are playing there and what times they’re playing.

Next time, when you need to look for movie showtime, simply go to www.google.com and search for “movies”.
