Thanks for the tutorial - it worked perfectly first time! I'm not successfully running T-Mobile on my unlocked, jailbroken iPhone.

I have the same issue. I can make and receive calls using the "emergency calls" key pad, but I cant get to the home screen. I'm trying to ssh but keep running into roadblocks because I have a PC. Any suggestions?

@Vikas,

That's strange. If you have sync the calendar with iTunes before the jailbreak, it should be able to restore.

@Clarke,
Yes, it works on iPod Touch 2G, but you need to download the <a href="http://pfd.apple.com/ProtectedAsset/iPodTouch/061-7269.20091008.Pfd32/iPod2,1_3.1.2_7D11_Restore.ipsw?downloadKey=1255233429_b4d79db431a4f1318192206d37baa2cf" rel="nofollow">firmware for iPod Touch 3.1.2</a>. If you have problem downloading the firmware file, you can use Firefox browser to download it.
