Orbit – The Expose for Jailbroken iPhone is Now Available

Expose for iPhoneA couple of weeks ago, Ocean Observations developed an interesting mockup that bring Mac’s Expose feature to iPhone. The design concept is to let you easily switch between pages in iPhone home screen. If you like the concept, here is the good news.

Steve Troughton-Smith, who has already developed several great iPhone apps, has turned the concept into reality and rolled out an iPhone app called “Orbit” on Cydia Store.

The Orbit app lets you have a quick overview of all pages of home screen and you can simply tap on the thumbnail to access the page directly. If you have many pages of iPhone apps, Orbit improves the way how you currently navigate through pages of iPhone apps.

To learn more about how it works, check out the video to see it in action:

Orbit is now available on Cydia Store for US$1.99. As always, the app only works on jailbroken iPhone. For those with lots of apps, you’ll find the “Orbit” way of navigating through home screen is pretty great!

With the release of Orbit v1.0, the developer is already working on the next version update and planning to add more features to the app. The pinch feature is very likely to come with v2.0. It’s pretty cool. You can check it out in the below video:

What do you think the Orbit way of navigation? Please leave us comment and share your thought.
