Short Update about iPhone 3.1 Jailbreak Solution for Windows

sn0wbreeze video For Windows users, I know you are waiting for the release of sn0wbreeze, the PwnageTool for Windows. The developer of sn0wbreeze, iH8Sn0w, has posted a short video giving you a quick preview of the tool (see it below). As said before, sn0wbreeze is scheduled to release on Oct 12.

Other than sn0wbreeze, GeoHot also announced in his blog that he found a way to jailbreak all models of iPhones, as well as, iPod touch for firmware 3.1. No details about when the jailbreak tool will be available but he’s now developing the jailbreak tool.

For those who do not heard of GeoHot, he is another brilliant iPhone developer who has created purplera1n for jailbreaking & unlocking iPhone 3GS. And, same as purplera1n he developed before, you can expect the jailbreak solution will be available on Windows.

In fairness, he should be mentioned ahead of all others, as he was the very first to jailbreak the iPhone. Most recently, he also released a jailbreak and unlock for OS 3.0 before any other team.

No, I’m not him nor do I know him or any other member of a jailbreaking team.
