In less than 30 minutes, Apple will kick off the special event – It’s Only Rock and Roll, But We Like It, in San Francisco. Right before announcing the new product, Apple quietly updates the price of various iPods. It’s a big price cut especially for iPod Touch!
iPod Nano:
- 8GB is now sold at $129 ($20 off)
- 16GB is now sold at $149 ($50 off)
iPod Classic:
- 120GB is now sold at $229 ($20 off)
iPod Touch:
- 8GB is now sold at $189 ($40 off)
- 16GB is now sold at $249 ($50 off)
- 32GB is now sold at $279 ($120 off)

The price is already effective and you can check it out on Apple Store.
Update: The Apple Store is now offline. It’s very likely Apple is preparing to roll out new product right after the event.
Update: Sorry, the price is adjusted right after the event with the introduction of the new iPod. The 32GB iPod Touch is now renewed and sold at $299.
