Apple has released a new TV commercial called Avid for iPhone 3GS. The advertisement targets to attract sports fans and shows off how iPhone can bring more fun to sports enthusiasts and gamers.

Same as other recent iPhone ads, Avid highlights three great iPhone applications related sports including:

• Golfshot: Golf GPS [iTunes link, $29.99] – Provides GPS aerial views with TouchPoint positioning for over 15,000 golf courses worldwide and track your distance any shot with GPS RangeFinder.
• MLB.com At Bat 2009 [iTunes link, $9.99] – Allows you to watch live games on your iPhone for limited Major League Baseball games and listen to every regular season & postseason game live.
• TouchSports Tennis ‘09 [iTunes link, $0.99] – Offers a realistic 3D tennis game experience and make full use of touch & tilt control with “Console Quality”
