Hi,
how can i jailbreak iphone 3gs without original courier sim card?
also i dont the firmware version? i used other sim card but it say not supported,
i attach the iphone to the itunes it says sim card not supported. please help me

i jailbroke with purple rain on my 3gs 3.1.2 firmware and whenever i install an app from rock or cydia its reboots and goes to the restore screen with the little usb cable. am i doing something wrong?

Mine did that also but it still installed cydia I just manually rebooted the phone.

@Dawn, for iPhone 3.0.1, I suggest you to use redsn0w for the jailbreak. First, completely restore your iPhone via iTunes and follow this jailbreak guide to jailbreak your iPhone 3GS. Let me know if this resolve your problem.

I’m running a iPhone 32gb 3Gs, with software version 3.0.1.

I got to step 4 and it doesn’t re-boot after the picture shows – I waited 15 mins. Any advice?
