I have the same problem as Nelson has. ( Response #71)

I tried to move the .ipsw file which PWNAGE had build in the the place where iTunes is searching but it refuses this file and starts downloading a new (original).ipsw file from the Apple site.

And I also can not find any OPTION button.

i tried blackra1n. everything seems go well until i click the blackra1n icon on the iphone, it says “please check your internet connection”.
do u think it relates to the roaming? because the roaming is off.

@annie, the 1015 error means that you haven't put your iPhone into DFU mode properly. If you have problems with PwnageTool, I suggest you to use blackra1n, which is an easier tool for jailbreaking.

i stuck at the step 20 …
when i use the itune to restore, after few minutes, the 1015 error popped up,
later on, error 1600 also came too.

@Genesis, try to put your iPhone into DFU mode and perform the restore again. Also, if DFU mode doesn’t work for you, try to put your iPhone in recovery mode and restore again.

i followed everything but a warning appears in the end The iPhone “iPhone” could not be restored. An unknown error occurred (1600).

If you don’t want to install FireFox just to download it, go Safari>Preferences… Then uncheck auto-open “safe” files.

Hi I followed every step but i need help with step 19 i dont know where the “option” button is and i cant load my custom firmware. i just click ok then restore and it just restores my iphone back to normal then i restore it again using the backup. but still no cydia installer. i need it so i can install video camera on my iphone. really need your help. Thanx in advance.
