For those live in US, you’re so lucky that you can always get the first hand-on experience for any new Apple product. The same goes for the iPhone 3G S. By now, you should know iPhone 3G S will become available on Jun 19. And, to be precise, it will go on sale in US starting at 8 a.m. (in all time zones) next Friday. Some AT&T stores will even open earlier, at 7 a.m., for those to pickup the pre-ordered iPhone 3G S. That’s really crazy!
But what about non-US customers? When will iPhone 3G S arrive other countries?
Philip Schiller, Senior Vice President of Worldwide Product Marketing, has actually mentioned the release date for other countries in WWDC keynote. According to the presentation, here are the release dates for all other countries:

i wonder whether we’ll get the factory-unlocked phone or still the locked phone… i’ve been using a locked phone (yellowsn0w unlocked) all this while. would be nice to get a factory-unlocked phone so that i need not always worry about accidentally updating the baseband.
My country (India) is on the last list. But I wonder if they would reduce the price in India as they did in US.
Also, any updates on if 3.0 is unlocked yet?
@Sanjay, not sure the price yet. Apple doesn’t announce the price of iPhone 3G S for all countries. And, I didn’t hear about any unlock news for iPhone 3.0. Please come back later and I’ll keep you & other readers update about the unlock news.
I wonder if it is really 2.9x the speed to open a web page. If that’s true then it is much faster than Palm Pre. Also I wonder if I can do multi tasking between yahoo messaging and stuff like bloomberg. Because I chat with my friends and watch the market at the same time.
The Palm Pre seems to have very good multi task features. I use backgrounding from jail breaking the iphone but it is very unstable and non user friendly.
Hi, I am from Singapore. I would like to correct that Apple will not release iPhone 3G S at those countries on July 9 and August 9. The image shown states “July ‘09″ which means July 2009, not specifying the 9th of July. If you compare to the image shown for the 8 countries, it will be just “June 19″ without the and not ‘19. So it may be a later date or an earlier date than the 9th of July subjected to the countries telcos. Just trying to clear things up. (: Thank you.

are you sure the hong kong, etc, release is july 9? i think the keynote said july ‘09, but didn’t give a specific date. but if it is july 9th, i’ll be waiting in line on the 8th!!
IPhone 3GS has finally arrived in Malaysia, unofficially. They are factory unlocked units from other countries and the price is relatively cheap compared to if you have to contract with certain provider. I just placed my order for 1 unit at USD1400 a piece.
in new zealand we r gettin the unlocked phone as it cannot be locked to vodafone nz, this is why im gettin mine from NZ rather than UK where it is locked to one country! Much better for international travel!

@croatia, it’s delayed. For Croatia, t-mobile will release the iPhone 3GS on Jul 31.

Obviously Movistar Venezuela did not deliver, since it is still not available in here.
I feel disappointing, to say the least, about they feeling they are doing us a favor by bringing the 3GS here, is not like they give it away for free, they make tons of money already from the over priced phone calls and awfully slow 3G service.
