Are you looking for application to alert your contact’s birthday? iBirthdays may be the right application for you. This cydia application lets you easily keep track your contact’s birthday.

Once you launch iBirthdays, the app pulls the birthdays of your contacts and shows you all the upcoming birthdays. The interface is very simple and intuitive. You can tap “All by Date” option and the app displays all the birthdays of your contact with contact name, photo, age and Zodiac.

How to Use iBirthday

To use iBirthdays, you have to register your contact’s birthday in iPhone’s Contacts. How can you do that? That’s easy but I guess many of you do not aware you can save a birthday field in Contacts. To add the birthday, simple tap “Edit” in any contact. Then scroll to the bottom and tap “Add Field”. You should see a field named “Birthday”. Tap on it and fill in the birthday. And finally tap “Save” and “Done” to save it in Contact.

Once you have all your birthdays setup, iBirthdays will automatically pull the birthdays from Contacts and lets you easily keep track all upcoming birthdays.

Is it Free?

iBirthdays is absolutely free for download from Cydia. But there are a couple of features that requires you to pay. The Settings option and tap-to-dial function inside the app are only available in paid version, which costs US$6.99.

You think it’s too pricey? Don’t worry. If you do not need those fancy features, the free version should be enough for you to keep track your contact’s birthday.
