From what I observed, there is a common need among iPhone users to find applications or solutions to transfer contact or images between iPhones. Earlier, I have published a post about “3 Great Ways to Forward a Contact on iPhone” and discussed three different approaches to share a contact with iPhone or other mobile phones.

Today, I’ll introduce a new iPhone application called “Mover”, developed by Infinite Labs. This app is really awesome, innovative and amazing. You’ll love the way that Mover introduces to share a contact or an image between iPhones. It’s simply fun!

There is no better way to describe this app than a video. Let’s see it in action…

Cool, right? You can pick any image or contact and send them to nearby iPhone by using just a flick. The receiving iPhone then picks up the image or contact, which is automatically saved in Photos or Contacts.

However, there is one drawback of this iPhone app. To use Mover, both iPhones should be connected to the same WiFi network. Otherwise, the app can’t detect the nearby iPhone for contact or image sharing. Hope this limitation can be further improved when iPhone 3.0 is released. At that time, I believe Mover will allow file sharing between iPhones via Bluetooth.

Mover is now available on App Store and it is absolutely free. You can download it via this direct iTunes link.

What do you think about Mover’s way for image/contact sharing? Feel free to leave comment and share your thought.

Is there a free app that does the same only via Bluetooth?

If anyone can tell me why this applicattion doesn’t work. I have wifi network at work and me and co-worker has tried it several times. Doesn’t work , won’t move pictures to his phone or visa versa. This application doesn’t work.
