Nowadays, it’s not uncommon you can find iPod or iPhone integrated with music system of a car. With the popularity of iPhone, Chrysler tries to take one step further by turning iPhone into a car ignition key. Simply dock your iPhone and start up the car engine. That’s really cool!

From Chrysler’s brochure, this concept will be implemented in its cute & economical-friendly car – Peapod. Not only you can use the iPhone as car key, Peapod lets you use iPhone as the entertainment system and a trip advisor, showing how much you can save by driving green.

With the upcoming release of iPhone 3.0 and further innovations by Apple Engineers, we’ll soon see more innovative usage of iPhone. The device is just awesome! Stay tuned for other innovative iPhone integrations.
