I had installed this from Cydia earlier…but since I could not see any options for it I assumed it just didnt work…that is untill I tried making a skype call over my edge connection…..It shocking but its actually clearer than my cell network….I cant figure out if skype restricted itself to wifi because of apples restrictions or because other technical reasons.

@Azbook, I haven’t tried it out yet. But I think with the latest version of MobileSubstrate, it probably works on iPhone 3GS.

Infac after installing all my apps that requires wifi because i am using a different carrier on my phone works now. e.g. app store and itunes (on the phone)

@Anup, base on my test so far, it works and is quite stable. You can also give it a shot. If you find any issue, you may just uninstall the voipover3G package.

have you tried this simon does it really work with the new Skype app that was released?
Does installing voipover3G makes other apps unstable?
