What were you doing when you were at 9 years old? A nine-year-old kid from Singapore decided to do something different – Develop iPhone application.
In early Feb, this kid has put up an iPhone application called Doodle Kids on App Store and at that time, it has generated a huge media coverage.
Doodle Kids is a very simple app that lets kids to draw freely on iPhone’s touch screen using finger. As you draw, Doodle Kids paints the screen with random shapes in random color. It also adds a fancy trick to the app. Shake the iPhone to clean up the screen.
As the author mentioned, he developed the apps mainly because of his sister who loves drawing. But just for the 1st two weeks after Doodle Kids debuted on App Store, it has been downloaded for over 4,000 times. By the time I wrote this post, there are nearly 24,000 reviews submitted in App Store for this simple application. And, the rating is not bad – 3 stars.
Doodle Kids is a free application available on App Store. If you have kids and lets them play around with the app. you can download it via this direct iTunes link.
