Skype Inc., has officially released Skype for iPhone and it is now available for free on App Store. With Skype, you can make voice call to your friends or family or co-workers on Skype totally free, as long as you’re connected to Wifi network.
Other than voice calls, Skype can also serves as Instant Messenger, that allows you to view who’s online and sends messages between each other over cellular or Wifi network.

My 2G IPhone could not run skype for long. It disappeared a few seconds after logging in. Do you suggest something to fix this?

@Thai, I suggest you upgrade the Mobile Substrate to the latest version. And, this will resolve the issue. For details, please check out this post.
