Sorry to say but it looks the same as cydia, but just probably faster. Trust is Cydia is really obsolete now.(which means so would icy).

Rock is the future, its fast(probably to par with icy if not better), and is very colorful, all apps have its own pics, reviews/comments on all things there. Same repo as cydia+rock only ones. Imports all cydia(maybe icy too) apps/addons(does not port your manual entered repos, so you have to redo those)
Lets you back up all JB apps/addons to your rock account, so if you restore you just login and it will download everything you have. and alot more!

Does anyone know if ICY still has compatibility problems with Cydia? Cydia has got to be there because it's loaded with so many custom firmwares and jailbreaks, so it's still king of the mountain, but for a while ICY and Cydia would have a horrible row if you put them on the same iPhone. It seems that the problem has been cleared up, but I'd like to get some verification if anyone knows. thanks!

Cydia gives a creepy warning like that one too when you try to un-install it... much like synaptic would give you in ubunu. It is just the software making sure you aren't mistakenly removing your package manager.

@Alex, thanks for the update. I agree Icy doesn't look right but it's much faster than Cydia.

icy released an update. i updated it and then successfully uninstalled it! will wait for icy to be more stable before using it again. it definitely has potential given its small size and quick launching.
