It&#039;s expected jailbroken iPhone will be required to jailbreak again for upgrading to firmware 3.0. Other than faster data transmission, one thing that you&#039;ll definitely miss out is GPS. There is another rumor that Apple will rollout &quot;Turn by turn&quot; GPS navigation application in iPhone 3.0. Not sure it&#039;ll become true or not, anyhow, iPhone 2G will not be able to benefit from this app. 

But, if you do not really need GPS and faster download speed, you can still stay with the 2g iPhone and wait for Apple to release another generation of iPhone.</description>
